CHIGURU – GOVT GIRLS HIGH SCHOOL
Bengaluru: 25th June, 2018. It was always our dream to train some of the govt. girls school kids in the game of basketball. As such when we approached the Vice-Principal, Mr Lokeshappa, of Govt. Girls High School at 13th Cross, Malleswaram, Bengaluru as well as Mr Srikantaswamy, PT Master, they both readily agreed to nominate 40+ high school girls. As on now we have the girls studying in 8th and 9th standard attending the camp regularly, 4 days in a week. Mr Rajesh has been assigned as the coach from Beagles Basketball Club. Rajesh has also been trying out some innovative training methods like using tennis balls to teach them dribbling etc. These are seen on the photos below.
